“ Came here for dinner and was solid again! The place was packed on a Saturday night which is a good sign. The meats that I go with are the brisket and pork belly. I like the addition of ramen and udon and I will have to say that the kimchijigae is really good. The egg souffle always seems to have a hint of a burn taste to it. But the other sides are pretty solid. I recommend and will be back. ”

Usually I cook whenever I go to Korean bbq so it was great to get a night off and to get someone like Ryan to assist us. We ordered pretty much every meat they had. Everything was absolutely delicious. The only thing I would skip out on, is the thinly sliced brisket. Overall definitely a great spot. Great soju as well. ”

“ I've been to the bayside Won bbq (previously O2 bbq) many times and have been waiting for this carle place branch to open. Initial thoughts were why is this one a few dollars more than the bayside one? Usually, things in LI are less expensive than NYC. But there's easy parking here, so for a Friday/weekend dinner, it's much more about convenience, and we had to give it a try. This branch is much larger, nicer. Reservations were very easy to make either through Google or Yelp. Our table was ready when we arrived. The servers were friendly and attentive. They cooked the food for us, which I loved. Usually at kbbqs (esp. ayce), they start cooking for us, but then it gets busy, and I would have to cook at least some of the food myself. We were here from 630 until 8, and they cooked everything for us. They asked us if we wanted refills many times, and most importantly...the quality of the meats stayed the same!!!(unlike nearby kpot where 2nd orders of meat always comes fattier or less fresh) We loved all the meats, esp #17 marinated kalbi. All the sides were great, although the steamed egg was way too salty. Everything else was well seasoned. Portions for sides are small, but that's okay since most people are here for the meats. You can always order more. Everything was fresh. Children under 3.5 ft are free. Under 4 ft are half price. Pricey for a 5-6 yr old who falls in this height range, esp since they never eat more than a noodle. There's no dessert included. Dessert is extra, a la carte. That has always been my complaint with Won bbq. The bayside branch is like this also. It's really a pet peeve of mine. Just give oranges at the end or something! My star rating legend: 5: A+ Worth a special journey (ie. I would go out of my way, maybe even take a flight somewhere just for this; exceptionally amazing) 4: A excellent, a must try, solid place 3: B good; nothing extraordinary, but would definitely go again 2: C personally would never go again (unless invited by someone and I didn't get to pick the place), but I can see how others might find something appealing 1: Fail. I would never return and recommend no on else goes either. ”
